Our Story

  Hi! I’m Leah Newell, the founder of Bake and Blossom, your new neighborhood home bakery! As a mother, wife, and nurse, I bring a unique blend of care, precision, and creativity to the art of baking.

Our family-run bakery, Bake and Blossom, is a testament to our collective vision and hard work. My husband, Camron, alongside our daughters, have been instrumental in transforming this dream into a reality. 

My journey in baking began in childhood, sharing homemade sweets with loved ones. This passion evolved over the years, leading me to become a self-taught baker with an eye for detail. After a fulfilling career in nursing, I’ve chosen to focus on my family and my lifelong love for baking. This transition has allowed me to share my artisanal treats more broadly, bringing joy through each meticulously crafted dessert.

When I’m not baking, you can find me spending time outside with my girls, tending to my flowers, coaching youth softball, and rooting for the Phillies. These roles enrich my life and inspire the flavors and experiences I bring to the bakery.
